Designed to apply and maintain the distraction pressure required for correction. The Harrington System
for treatment of Scoliosis consists of placing a system of hook and rods which allow corrective force
to be applied, stabilizing the segment treated in corrective position. Corrective forces are applied to
the Scoliotic Spine through distraction rod on the concave side and compression on the convex
side.
